On September 25, the Bekkering York team gathered at BC Place for our annual staff celebration, cheering on the BC Lions as they took on the Saskatchewan Roughriders.
It was a fun evening of football, laughter, and good company — made even better by a Lions win.
The game also recognized the upcoming National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. Congratulations to Carla, who won one of 40 worn BC Lions practice jerseys created for the occasion. We were pleased to see her bring home such a meaningful keepsake.
Thank you to the @BC Lions for the social media mention and for recognizing this important observance.
